A B O U T
I am a queer, trans-non-binary person who slow crafts. I mostly work with material that can decompose. I work with recycled and upcycled materials, allowing sustainability and reclamation to shape both my process and aesthetic. My art is informed by queer theory, gender exploration, storytelling, community building, re-imagining, and lived experience. I work in forestry and I am drawn to natural landscapes, textures, flora and fauna. I have an herbalism practice and love to weave herbs, weeds, native and invasive species in my work. I am primarily self taught. I work with textile, fibre, clay, and watercolour. I also have a drawing, comic, tattoo, printmaking, medicine making and jewellery practice.
Eventually I’ll add images to the website covering more categories.
I’m currently working on a picture book about birds and masculinity.
